Welcome back!! There are a few of these recipes out there but I don't know who created it - God bless him or her. It's so easy since there is no kneading required but you need to think ahead since it needs at least 12 hours to rise. I've made a version with rosemary and fresh grated Parmesan cheese (reduce the salt) and as you can see, I just tried a cinnamon raisin version. So, feel free to play around. Do give it a try y'all it's so easy and so good. Think about it, you can mix it at 8pm tonight and have a hot breakfast bread by 9am tomorrow π. Let me know if you try it. Remember to place your baking container into your oven to preheat (450Β°f). Store (if you have any left ππ) in an airtight container (I use a zipper bag). See you next time.
3 cus flour
1/2 tsp yeast
3/4 - 1 tsp salt (play around till you find what works for you)
1.5 cups room temperature water
Cast iron pot or other Dutch oven (heavy pot) is best but as you saw, my loaf pan worked ok.
Cinnamon Raisin version
Mix 1/2 (or up to 3/4) cup raisins, 1 tsp cinnamon and 2 tsp brown sugar (optional) into the flour mixture before adding water.
