For BETTER SOLAR PERFORMANCE while winter boondocking tilt Solar Panels South. Make your own solar panel tilt kit or buy a pre-made one (link below). Here's how I made mine.
Step-By-Step Instructions:
(1) Cut 6 foot stainless steel (1/8" x 1 1/4" flat bar from eBay) down to 24" sections
(2) drilled a hole on each end for my 1/4 20 bolts
(3) Sanded them down with a grinder and paddle wheel attachment
(4) Wiped them down with WD-40
(5) Inserted a RIVNUT on one end to attach it to the mounting bracket (optional)
