So today I was able to create some color changing noodles by using some red cabbage. I feel like this would make a great kitchen science experiment, It reminds me of the unicorn noodles craze that was happening a few years ago. The recipe is actually very simple and all you really need is a cabbage. I used rice noodles, I don't think regular pasta would work as well. To demonstrate what you can make with this, I made some Bun Bo Nam Bo, a really delicious rice noodle salad.
Bun Bo Nam Bo Recipe:
Lettuce
Vercemelli Rice Noodles
Red Cabbage
Dressing
50 mL (3 Tablespoons) Fish Sauce
50 mL (3 Tablespoons) Rice Vinegar
Thai Chilis
3 Garlic Cloves
1 inch (2 cm) piece of ginger
Beef Marinade
200 grams beef
1 yellow onion
1 middle part of the stalk of lemon grass
4 garlic cloves
2 tablespoons fish sauce
1 tablespoon sugar

This is my version of butterbeer, I tried to recreate the butterbeer found at Universal Studios!
Recipe
Part 1: Cream Soda syrup
200 grams (1 cup) - granulated sugar
100 grams (3/4 cup)- water
Pinch of Cream of Tartar
Some Vanilla Flavoring
Part 2: Butterscotch Flavoring
100 grams (1/2 cup) - Brown Sugar
50 grams (1/2 stick) - Butter
100 mL (1/2 cup) - Heavy Cream
50 grams (1/4 cup) - Water
Allow the sugar and water to come to a boil, add butter and cream.
Part 3: Marshmallow Topping
2 egg whites
150 grams (2/3 cup) white sugar
150 grams (1/2 cup) light corn syrup
60 grams (1/2 cup) water
Heat to 115C or 240 F.
