About this video: All The Mons is one of the coolest modpacks out there. Combining all of the incredible mods of All The Mods 10 with Cobblemon to create a truly unique and crazy Pokemon experience in Minecraft. There trulyis tons to do, and in my opinion, it is best enjoyed with friends. So, in this video, we show you how to play All The Mons with your friends by making your very own server. Let’s get started!
First things first, we will need to download the All The Mons server files. There is a link above to the files page where you can click on the version you want, click “Additional Files” and download the server pack. This will have all the mods you need as well as the server files.
After the server files are downloaded, extract them. Then, open the unzipped folder. In it, you will see a “start-server.bat” file. Run this file, and you will be prompted to type “true” and hit enter in the server’s console along the way.
Eventually, your server will be online. Now, you can launch Minecraft with the All The Mons modpack and then join the server with the IP address “localhost”.
However, what if you want your friends to join? Well, they will also need to play with the modpack, but you will need to port forward the port 25565 on the TCP and UDP protocols. Then, they can join with your public IP. Our complete port forwarding guide is linked above.
