In this video, I share how to Knook (knit with a crochet hook) in the round using the Japanese/Eastern style method. I also go over some easy increases and decreases, along with helpful tips I’ve learned along the way.
And at the end, I talk about how I adapted the cat knitting pattern for knooking.

I used a weight 4 cotton yarn with a 4 mm locker hook, but I’d recommend learning with an acrylic or wool yarn since they have more elasticity.

Foundation chain: created from chain with YO
Knit:
Right-handed — insert right to left, yarn over (RTL, YO)
Left-handed — insert left to right, yarn over (LTR, YO)
Purl:
Right-handed — insert left to right, yarn under (LTR, YU)
Left-handed — insert right to left, yarn under (RTL, YU)
