This tutorial shows you how to make springy knitted spirals, which make for fun embellishments on all kinds of projects like scarves or knitted octopi!

I'll demonstrate how to knit the spiral from side-to-side, and how to knit the spiral end-to-end like an i-cord. I'll also tell you how to alter the side-to side pattern to make a longer or shorter, tighter or more loose curl.
