This knitting tutorial demonstrates how to knit oscillating slip stitch ribbing, which creates alternating bands of yarn floats on the front of your knitting.
It's a 28 row pattern repeat, but don't worry, most of those rows are repeated a few times, and it's made up of only simple components: knits, purl & slip stitches.
