Learn how to head to the Abyss while doing the A Shadow In The Void quest in Crimson Desert. This guide shows the fastest route to the Abyss, covers powering the Cube in Drywind Valley, and navigating the Abyss to reach the Caliburn boss.
_*Mini-Guide: Head to the Abyss Walkthrough*_
_*1. Locate the Cube Spaceship:*_
- The cube can be found in the Demeniss region. Northeast from the letter S of Demeniss.
- The Cube is hidden inside a deep chasm located next to the waterfalls on the west side of Drywind Valley.
- Jump into the large square opening and drop down one more level through the hole in the floor.
_*2. Restore Power to the Cube:*_
- *Remove the Barrier:* Look for the battery in the wall. Use Axiom Force to pull the battery out.
- *Install the Power Cell:* Use Axiom Force to grab the glowing power cell and move it into the nearby socket.
- *Lock the Cell:* Use the Force Current ability (from your green Spirit tree) to lock the cell into the socket.
- *Reactivate the Battery:* Grab the original battery with *Axiom Force* until it turns green, then use *Force Current* to snap it back into place.
_*3. Solve the Rotating Disk Puzzle:*_
- Use Axiom Force on the vertical pillar and then double jump to reach the upper floor.
- Find the two large circular disks on the floor.
- Rotate the top right disk until it glows blue.
- Rotate the bottom left disk until it glows blue.
- The Cube will now be powered and will automatically head to the Abyss.
- Go to the roof of the Cube and wait for the ship to travel to the Abyss.
_*4. Reach the Caliburn Boss:*_
- Activate the Abyss Nexus (a fast-traveling point) as you travel west.
- *Floor Switch:* Crouch and use Force Palm to press the large circular button on the ground.
- This will activate an Abyss and skybridge gate. Make your way to the skybridge.
- You'll find a pillar. Rotate the dial on the pillar to activate the moving platform.
- Continue forward by jumping from platform to platform
- Follow the quest marker to the massive cables forming a bridge. Climb them to reach the tower entrance and start the Caliburn boss fight by entering the Abyss Gate in front of the tower.
