_Learn how to achieve enlightenment in Crimson Desert with this complete quest guide._ This walkthrough covers the Face the Inner Self quest line and the Ascetic's Rest puzzle. We show you how to drain the water pit, install the power core using Force Current, and find the secret 2 hidden chests and the Refined Palmar Pill recipe.
_*Mini-Guide: Face the Inner Self & Ascetic's Rest:*_
_*1. Drain the Water:*_
- Head down the staircase and look for a crack in the wall.
- Use a turning slash (PC: Left Click + Right Click | Xbox: RB + RT | PS5: R1 + R2) on the crack to empty the water pit.
_*2. Solve the Puzzle:*_
- Enter the tunnel and pick up the power cell using Axiom Force (PC: TAB | Xbox: Hold LS (Left Stick) | PS5: Hold L3 (Left Stick)).
- Use Force Current (PC: Middle Mouse Button | Xbox: RS (Click Right Stick)| PS5: R3 (Click Right Stick)) to snap the core into the block and finish the spinning dial. This rewards you with an Abyss Artifact.
_*3. Meditation & Rewards:*_
- Go up the stairs to the meditation platform.
- Grab the Palmar pills and the Refined Palmar Pill recipe nearby before meditating.
_*4. The Secret Chest:*_
- Stand on the left side of the stairs and jump down onto the large tree roots below.
- Follow the roots forward to find and loot the hidden chest.
