“How do I get out of a loop??” (that's one of THE most common Q’s I get about making music with synths. 🎛️
Have you ever found yourself stuck in an endless loop of the same sound on your modular synth? It sounds awesome for the first few minutes, but then you start wondering… NOW WHAT!? 🥲
There are a LOT of ways to approach creating variation and evolution in synth patches, but here’s one idea to try:
Use a sequential switch to move between multiple melodies (or bass lines, or modulation sequences, etc.,)!
