@landscape.fm "Soundwich" running into pretty much any effect... in this video I'm pairing it with the lovely @chasebliss Onward pedal.
For me, tools like these are like a treasure trove of material for pieces. I love to record little improvisations like this, chop up the sounds, pull samples, and work with them in my DAW to build something entirely new.
On my record MASS, for example, *most* of the percussive sounds were created by sampling the sound of metal cookie trays, instant oatmeal packets, and even the prickly spines on a small cactus.
Basically, everything is an instrument!!
