By starting Vigilante during Beefy Baron, and then failing/cancelling Vigilante, you can keep the RC Baron during free roam or other missions. Make sure to use a cop bike, because while you control a RC vehicle, CJ is unable to exit vehicles, but luckily he can still fall from bikes (you cannot also switch weapons, so choose wisely which weapon you want to keep using before starting Beefy Baron). This RC Baron is immune to explosions and fires.
The same thing can be done with the RC Goblin instead of the RC Baron, but you will need to start Quarry during New Model Army instead.
While on foot, the controls for the RC Baron change a bit (in vehicles the controls are the same that you use during the mission). Sprint button accelerates it, jump button reverses it, walk forward leans it down and walking backwards leans it up. Also primary fire and secondary fire will explode the RC Baron (so you are not able to hold calls).
This trick might be useful to use the Baron explosion during a mission to kill an enemy (you can also run them over, but this takes longer), or to keep the Baron far from CJ so no vehicles and pedestrians will spawn, as well as allowing CJ to walk through all kinds of objects like doors, garage doors, fences, garbage, some trees, lampposts, boxes, cones. Not sure if it would be useful for races, as Bloodbowl can also remove traffic, and not holding call would mean not starting the race earlier than your opponents (unless a food menu or weapon menu can be used for that, but I am not sure how these interact with the race tournament menu). When starting a mission be careful not to leave the RC Baron within the impound raidius, or it will get despawned like normal vehicles do.Also, CJ can fly while on top of the RC Baron, but I am not sure if this can be useful for anything (it could possibliy be used to enter some unused interiors, since the Baron can go above the height limits of other Planes and Helicopter, but that would be very hard).
If you want you can use CJ's body to open a garage a put the RC Baron inside. When CJ goes away and the door closes, you will no longer have control over it, and it will be saved just as a trophy.
