In this video, I beat Stormterror Dvalin without getting hit by it.

I have a level 60 Geo Traveler but I've toned down his gear so his stats are more along the lines of the rest of the units I'm using. Overall, this fight is not particularly difficult by any means. You just need to have enough DPS to beat the boss before all platforms have the energy fissures on them if you want to have an easier time.

MANDATORY UNITS:
None

IDEAL UNITS:
Geo Traveler (High DPS)
Chongyun (High DPS)
Diluc (High DPS)
Jean (High DPS + Passive DPS)
Fischl (Passive DPS)
Xiangling (High + Passive DPS)


AVOID THESE UNITS:
None

Take your time getting the shield down, and then go in as hard as possible during the damage phase. You will need to try and beat this boss within 4 DPS phases or you will continuously take damage from the fissures. Just remember to always migrate from the platforms early so you don't get trapped.



Dvalin is an easy fight. You fight him as part of the story but you can begin fighting him in his Domain later on as well.
