Frostnight Herra is a world boss introduced as part of Genshin Impact's 6.1 update as part of the Nod Krai region.

Frostnight Herra is a boss that Hoyoverse has decided to implement that further alienates paying players from non-paying players. The main mechanic of the fight can only truly be interacted with by using Lunar-Charged to bypass the boss's most difficult section. By dealing 50 elemental hits to it (Lunar Charged hits are worth 6 each) you will end its special phase and it will absorb the element that dealt the most damage to it (if the element that did the most damage was Lunar-Charged or Physical, it will not absorb any element) and become immune to said element as well as become permanently affected by that element.

Aside from that mechanic, the boss is incredibly easy. Its AI is very easy to manipulate by staying in melee range, and in melee range it will only attempt to do 2 moves: a triple swipe and a charged slash, both of which can be easily dodged by stepping towards and around the boss as they happen.

RECOMMENDED UNITS:
A Lunar Charged unit

The particular team that I use in this video is not optimal by any means but it is there to showcase a way to utilize its mechanic for a decent gain. I can't really recommend any specific units because it depends on who you like to use and what units you have available. Ideally, you want units that hit very frequently like Aino, Amber, Lisa, Lynette, etc. as well as a unit that can deal a lot of damage like Xiangling.

MAYBE DON'T BRING THESE UNITS:
Please don't bring a team that can only deal 1 element of damage. You will cry if that team doesn't deal mostly Phys or Lunar-Charged.
