In this DROPS video we show you how to decrease 1 stitch on each side of 2 garter stitches. The decreases can be used individually or with several decreases above each other, leaving a discreet line; great for raglan for example.
BEFORE STARTING THE VIDEO:
The decreases are worked across 6 stitches. There is a marker between 2 stitches and you decrease on each side of these 2 stitches.
THE VIDEO SHOWS:
RIGHT SIDE:
Work to 3 stitches before the marker, knit 2 together, knit 2, knit 2 twisted together (= 2 decreased stitches). If you are decreasing several times above each other (i.e., every 2nd row), remember to decrease directly above the previous decrease.
