For a green and super soft yarn combination, try working together DROPS Alpaca 9030, pistachio ice cream and DROPS Kid-Silk 47, pistachio ice cream. Our crochet sample uses a 4 mm crochet hook, which is a perfect fit for patterns in the crochet hook group 4.00 - 4.50 mm.
Remember however that knitting/crochet tension varies from person to person and that the suggested needle/hook size is only a guide. You can adjust the size to get a different tension - or match the tension recommended in the pattern you are working with. Just make a swatch!
