đĽ Iâm using the KS Choi Corp Moxa Heat Packs - my absolute favorite warmers on the market! Just be carefulâit gets really hot, so donât fall asleep with it directly on your skin.
đ If youâre interested, weâre gifting 3 of these heat babies free with purchase on Lanshin.com this weekend! Get yourself a No-Tox Box or Gua Sha Neck + Jaw Snatch Set to unlock your gift hands đ
In flu season, heat is one of the most effective ways to stop a cold in its tracks.
In the clinic, I often use the Chinese medicine technique of moxibustion. Think of it as âancient herbal infrared therapyâ that deeply warms your bodyâs energy channels.
My late teacher, Dr. Wang Ju-Yi, taught me the power of using moxa on Du14 to release cold invasion. It was a lifesaver during Beijingâs freezing winters nearly 20 years ago, and itâs something I still swear by it today!
Moxa relieves colds, flus, sinus congestion by boosting a weak immune system. But at home you shouldnât do moxa (leave that to your acupuncturist).
Instead, use a Lanshin Hot Masssager, a moxa heat pack, hot water bottle, electric heating pad, or warm scarf to feed your neck with warmth. Also keep your hair dry, and wear it down instead of up.
Feeling a cold coming on? Try warming the back of your neckâitâs so effective for stubborn sinus issues.
