In this DROPS video we show you the most common cast on method, using 2 strands in this example. The use of 2 strands gives a sturdier cast on edge. This method has many names like Continental cast on, tight cast on, normal cast on, long-tail cast on and cross cast on among others.
THE VIDEO SHOWS:
Pull out the strand from the middle of the ball and pull out the strand from the outside = 2 strands. Cast on as shown in the video. After casting on, cut one strand and continue with the other.
