HPE Quantum is building a path to scalable quantum supercomputing designed to unlock industrial applications beyond the reach of classical systems. As part of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, the team is developing a modality-agnostic architecture that focuses on the hardest systems challenges: scaling from hundreds to millions of qubits, tightly integrating quantum processors with high-performance computing and enabling robust distributed quantum error correction. This full-stack approach positions HPE as a system integrator, connecting quantum hardware, classical compute, networking, and software into a unified supercomputing framework.
Selected as a performer in Stage A of the DARPA Quantum Benchmarking Initiative (QBI), HPE Quantum is also developing rigorous, application-level benchmarking processes to evaluate real industrial value. Through initiatives such as the Quantum Scaling Alliance, the company is bringing together hardware partners, algorithm developers and end users to accelerate the transition from experimental prototypes to scalable, production-ready quantum supercomputers.
