Update, I was totally NEW to MIG Welding at the time. Some things to note;
1. This gauge is in L/min not CFM.
2. The gauge is for Argon, not C25 which is what I was using at the time.
3. The Dimple Washer is actually supposed to have the dimple to the adjustment bolt, I turned mine around to help stay centered in the spring, and that's not standard.
4. So why do leave the video up?
- The actual point of the video was to show how adjust a meter that has failed or fails to flow as it should if it's a non-adjustable meter.
- To show how these types of meters work inside. I never knew and was always curious.
This how I fixed my flow regulator from Argon to Co2. I'm NOT a professional so this video is for entertainment purposes.

This video is how I adjusted MY Flow Regulator that was not supposed to be adjustable.
The problem was I could not get enough gas flow while MIG welding and for the most part it was like welding with no gas at all most of the time.
My flow regulator was made in China by a Company called JingYi.
The tools I used:
- 250mm Adjustible wrench.
- 3/8" Drive Ratchet.
- 3/8" Drive 13mm Socket.
- 3/8" Drive 16mm Socket.
- 13mm Combination Wrench.
- 4mm Allen Wrench.
Parts Used:
- 8mm-1.25x30mm Bolt.
- 8mm-1.25 Nut.
