How to change a battery in most Murano's or other vehicles. This video includes a little bit on how to deal with corroded battery terminal clamps.
Part I used:
- 12vdc Duralast Platinum Battery 35-AGM Group Size 35 650 CCA $199.99.
Chemical I used:
- Bottle of Soda Pop, to clean battery acid corrosion off Battery Terminals.
- Battery Terminal Protector By CRC #05746 $6.99.
- Mr. Clean in a spray bottle.
- Automotive Natural Orange Pumice Hand Cleaner By GoJo #0951-15 $11.69.
Tools I used:
- Beach Towel to protect the vehicles carpet during transportation.
- 10mm 3/8" Drive Deep Socket.
- 3/8" Drive Stubby/Short or Palm Ratchet.
- 10mm Ratchet Combination Wrench.
- Small Wire Brush, to clean battery acid corrosion off Battery Terminals.
- Bullet Battery Terminal Brush Cleaner. $5.99.
- Small Multi-Meter to check battery voltage.
- Paper Towels/Rags.
