In this video I show you how I make a video for youtube from start to finish.
My process involves a lot of the traditional planning that goes into video production, and this is my preferred approach. There is more than one way to skin a cat of course, and this is just the way that I do it. Occasionally my videos will be more spontaneous than this but by planning the video and scouting locations beforehand I am able to get the footage I need and have an idea of what I need to do to create the mood and the story I want, as well as make the editing process go more smoothly.
The process I tend to follow is this:
An idea
Develop the idea
Planning
Recce location
Video shoot
Edit
Upload!
The overall process can take a few days in all, and often that is a lot longer than I expect, but with the time and effort I put in I get results I am happy with.
