BOOKMARK THIS. In Chinese medicine, facial bloating is a case of excess dampness, weakness of organ channel Qi (energy), and/or excess tightness and tissue obstruction.
Facial Gua Sha helps by improving the circulation of blood, releasing tightness and blockage in the fascia and muscle layers, and stimulating better function of the energy channels in our face neck and body (which in turn improves fluid circulation).
Caution with these tips if you have rosacea - apply gentler, slower Gua Sha strokes that are less stimulating. Do not do face Gua Sha at all if you have sunburn, perioral dermatitis, active eczema, or over open pimples.
What do you think? Can you see a difference? Comment and like if you do or if you have questions!
