A quick teaching tip: if you can get your hands on something free — take it.
A local farm gave away free pumpkins, so I grabbed 22 and turned them into a creative Odyssey project.

Students will carve or paint scenes from the epic, just like how the Greeks used pottery to tell stories about their gods and heroes. It’s hands-on, fun, and connects ancient art with modern creativity.

Sometimes the best lessons start with something free.
