Hear what Danny Hoffman, Director of the University of Washington’s Jackson School of International Studies, has to say about the complex role of sport in fostering global cooperation and understanding. Drawing on the UW Global Sport Lab’s work leading up to Seattle’s role in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Hoffman explored how major sporting events create connections even in times of tension.
