As part of the Kellogg-HKUST leadership series featuring alumni of the Kellogg-Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) Executive MBA program, Asia Society Hong Kong Center (ASHK) was proud to host a presentation and dialogue with De Kai, a pioneering artificial intelligence (AI) professor at HKUST’s Department of Computer Science and Engineering and UC Berkeley’s International Computer Science Institute.

His latest book, Raising AI – An Essential Guide to Parenting our Future, considers how we as humans should approach, nourish, and guide the new AI cohabitants of our world. How can society guide the AI revolution to create a more humane, compassionate, and understanding world? What do we learn about human intelligence as we strive to create artificial intelligence, and how does that inform how we shape future AI tools?
