When asked about her most memorable exhibition, Alice fondly recalled theโจ๐ช๐ถ๐ณ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ผ ๐๐ฎ๐บ: ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ด exhibition from 2024.
Wifredo Lam was a pioneering artist who skillfully blended European modernist aesthetics with Afro-Cuban imagery, and maintained a close connection to the Surrealist movement, notably through his friendship with Pablo Picasso.
His artistic journey spanned across Cuba, Spain, and France, while his Chinese ancestry was often overlooked.
This is why Alice found it particularly meaningful to introduce him to Hong Kongโs audience for the first time through our exhibition.
