In this video I talk about how clothing choices impact where the viewer's eye travels in a photograph. As a portrait and fashion photographer, I consider elements like composition, lighting, and background, but clothing plays a crucial role too! I demonstrate how factors such as color, pattern, contrast, and size in clothing can direct attention within the frame. Using a simple, neutral background and soft lighting, I photograph my subject in various outfits to show how these elements guide the viewer's gaze. It's not about do's and don'ts but understanding how to use clothing and posing to highlight the subject's personality and draw attention to the face.
