When COVID hit in March 2020. NYS mandated that we stop our Sunday gatherings. Our paster Tim and his wife Jesse jumped in with both feet and decided to try to Live Stream his message using Facebook from their home. They used their cell phone and laptop to accomplish this.
Now a year later our in-person Services have resumed. We realized that Live Streaming and Youtube videos provide access to Shut-ins and members that have moved away or are on vacation.
We have recently upgraded our streaming equipment so we can provide a richer presentation.
We have Spectrum Business Internet. We have a hardwired WIFI access point located in the Sanctuary. A Pan-Zoom-Tilt videoconference camera is mounted to the first pew along with a high quality condenser microphone. The mic is plugged into a pre-amp. The camera video is fed to a Videostreamer using an HDMI cable a long with the mic. The Videostreamer uses persistent streaming keys to communicate with Facebook live.
