Last fall our 17 Year Old Black Lab Shadow passed. We did a spur of the moment trailer trailer trip to South Hero Island Vermont on Lake Champlain to get away and grieve. We wanted to ride our bikes on the Lake Champlain causeway bike trail. Unfortunately it was the end of the season and the bike ferry had already closed for the year.
