As per District Chief 26 Tram:
Fire started 1:30am at 6427 Springer St (Electronic Scrap Recycling Inc)
Building on fire was full of recycled computers which was responsible for the “booms” and “bangs” sounds coming from the warehouse (See Video)
15 units with a total of 60 firefighters responded to the fire
Fire was fought defensively from the exterior using multiple hand lines, deck guns, aerial ladders
Building next to the recycling warehouse was a building full of tires, which the fire did not extend to
Business was closed at the time
No civilian or firefighter injuries
Fire is currently “probably will hold” status but not under control yet as of 345am
HFD still currently putting water on the fire but no flames visible
