A Polish variant of the K239 Chunmoo Multiple Rocket Launch System (MRLS) developed by Hanwha Aerospace, the Homar-K is one of the key capabilities to defend Poland's eastern border and NATO's eastern flank.
The 18th Artillery Regiment in Nowa Deba has successfully deployed 15 Homar-K systems, along with 24 K9A1 Self-Propelled Howitzers, with the deliveries of those artillery systems continuing on time as part of the executive contracts signed in 2022 and 2023.
The Homar-K is regarded as the most successful project of ensuring Polish military modernization and growing industrial partnerships, as the rocket launcher is integrated with a hoard of Polish systems such as a chassis, communication and battle management systems.
