A collection from the UK of nearly 1,000 rare Nintendo consoles and games could fetch up to $12k (£9k) at auction, including three handheld systems considered a “holy grail” by collectors.
The ultra-rare Nintendo Game & Watch consoles were produced as promotional items in France and only a handful are believed to exist.
The sale follows a signed Nintendo 64 game box selling for $11.4k (£8.45k) despite containing no game at all.
