A businessman from Anglesey, Wales, UK, is fighting to keep Wales’ only working windmill painted in red, white and green after being ordered to restore it to its original colour.

Richard Holt says the colourful makeover of the 250-year-old Melin Llynon has attracted thousands of visitors and boosted tourism.

However, Anglesey Council says the Grade II-listed landmark was repainted without permission and must be returned to a suitable historic finish.
