A woman from Swindon, UK, says moving to Australia on a one-way ticket transformed her life and career.

Maisey Relph, 23, left a $28k (£21k)-a-year events job in 2023 for a sailing instructor trial shift in Sydney and now earns $60k (£44.6k) a year as an end-of-life support worker in Perth.

She says the move has given her a far better work-life balance and that she “can’t imagine moving back” to the UK.
