For many years now I have been on the lookout for an HO scale model of the polar express as it's one of my all time favourite train movies. I managed to find a set on eBay at a reasonable price and ordered it up.

I decided to wait a few months to unbox it so it would be closer to the holidays. I over like what Lionel has produced however the detail leaves a bit to be desired.

I hope to eventually detail the locomotive and improve the overall realism. Some of the features on this engine are things I haven't seen before such as being able to control the locomotive through an app.
