Michels Road & Stone, Inc. reconstructed 12 miles of eastbound interstate highway near Beach, N.D. The crew used a 40-foot-wide slipform paving machine to lay 8.5 inches of concrete. Michels also graded and trimmed the base surface, and managed culvert replacements, shoulder construction and other scopes of work.
