Working in mountainous terrain under urgent conditions, crews used a drone and custom tensioner to safely pull lead rope ahead of installation. This approach reduced safety risks, environmental impact, and costs compared to traditional methods.
Close coordination between the drone pilot, tensioner operator, and spotters ensured safe clearance over energized lines and road crossings.
