I was in Seoul, South Korea for two weeks and was able to explore around Dongdaemun ("great east gate") for about 30 minutes one particular day. The gate itself was impressive, but also I walked the gate/fence along the nearby hill with the remaining time to really take in the sights, engineering and labor that it took to build it across many, many years.
