A Hermit Thrush foraged for food using the foot-quivering technique to scare insects from under dead leaves into the open and to bring worms close to the surface. Watch closely as the thrush foot-quivers on a mole hill. You can see the earth moving and being pushed up by the mole underneath. My Toronto garden on 10 April 2020.
