We take a step back in time on a heritage steam train with the East Lancashire Railway. We joined the train in Bury, near Manchester, England, and went through four stops - Burrs Country Park, Summerseat, Ramsbottom and Irwell Vale - before getting off at Rawtenstall for a little walk around the station. We then returned to Bury. The East Lancashire Railway has days out, dining trips, special trains for Halloween and Christmas and many events and activities. It was a beautiful ride through the English countryside. You can chose to sit at a table or a Harry Potter-style compartment during the regular train ride. Dinner and afternoon tea trains have seats at tables. It is across the street from Bury Transport Museum, which will be a separate video.
