While in Belfast, we had to visit the Titanic museum, Titanic Belfast: The Titanic Experience and we chose the White Star Premium Pass. While just visiting the museum is spectacular, the premium pass includes a Discovery Tour that starts at the Harland and Wolff former offices, now the Titanic hotel, where many artefacts from the original offices remain. We then explored the outside of the building, which has many little touches and nods to the Titanic. The museum sits where the Titanic and her sister ship, The Olympic, were built. In the area around the building, you can see benches arranged in the Morse Code that the Titanic sent as it was sinking and a memorial garden to the passengers lost in the disaster. Then we visit The Nomadic, the last Harland and Wolff ship in existence. It was used to tender passengers on to the Titanic. We visited the museum but no filming or photography was allowed. It is so well done, a fitting tribute to the men who worked on the Titanic and the Olympic. It is well worth a visit.
