I met up with Audrey Denney for Congress yesterday and we talked about forestry, politics, and the way forward with managing our forests for wildfire resilience.
I don't often get into party politics on The Lookout, but I like Audrey's independent style and also, that she will be willing to reach across the aisle to get things done. I think this will be very important for anyone who is trying to lead California's new gerrymandered District 1, created after Prop 50 told NE California Republicans their voices weren't worth representing in congress.
