This is "H.A.T.E." for the Amstrad CPC released in 1989 by Vortex Software.
It is an isometric shoot 'em up very similar to Zaxxon.
You control either a fighter plane or a tank and your purpose is to destroy the reactors and collect the power cells that are left behind.
The power cells are useful at the end of each stage where there is a barrier that you can only pass if you have at least one power cell.
If you don't have a power cell you lose a life.
Of course, to reach at the barrier you have to survive different enemy waves trying to destroy you.
If you take a hit while carrying a power cell your plane or tank is not destroyed but you lose a power cell.
And that's all about it. It's quite simple but addictive enough game.
The game is also granted a smashing tune created by Ben Daglish!
Thank you for watching and feel free to rate and comment.
