Just a quick and dirty video of the hidden mini game inside Australo Piticus Mechanicus.
I couldn't find any footage of it on Youtube, so there you go.
If you type "system" the game loads a unix like pseudo-terminal.
The commands are:
1) logon superoper helix
The above command will log you in.
2) files
Will show the contents of the directory.
3) run Diagnostics
Will run the diagnostics program.
4) run CrystalTest
Will run the crystaltest.
5) run SpaceInvaders
Will run the mini game.

This is Young Defender for the Commodore Amiga released back in 1997 by Eclipse Entertainment as shareware game and developed by Ken Richards(programming-sound editing-direction) and Sandy Earle(graphics-music-game design).
Although this is the unregistered version of the game, the ending sequence is the same with the one you would get if you had the registered version.
I used savestates to finish the game.
You can download the unregistered version from here:

This is XP8 AGA version for the Commodore Amiga released back in 1996 by Efigy and developed by WeatherMine(Matthew Waters{code}, Anthony Fenton-Jones{graphics}, Tero Lethonen{graphics} and Daniel Dean{music}).
Its the same game as the ECS version except this version has more colors on screen.
Although initially impresses with the graphics, the repetitive gameplay keeps its replaying value low.
Technically the game is exceptional.
The pre-rendered visuals are moving and scrolling fast and smoothly and the controls are responsive and accurate.
The sound effects are just doing their job and there is no music during the gameplay.
