Hey everyone! Check out this cool headband twist. Would be a great headband for the rest of our warm weather, and a cool ear warming this winter. I hope you try this out and enjoy. Thanks to my sister for modeling the headband.

Clove Bamboo 16" circular needle size 9 (5.5mm)
Caron Simply Soft Yarn in Melon

Instructions:
Cast on 18 sts

Row 1: K3, P3, K6, P3, K3
Row 2 and all even rows: K6, P6, K6
Row 3: K3, P3, K6, P3, K3
Row 5: K3, P3, K2, slip 2 on cable hold back, K2, K2 on cable, P3, K3
Row 7: K3, P3, slip next 2 on cable hold front, K2, K2 on cable, K2, P3, K3
Row 9: K3, P3, K2, slip 2 on cable hold back, K2, K2 on cable, P3, K3
Row 11: K3, P3, slip next 2 on cable hold front, K2, K2 on cable, K2, P3, K3
Row 13: K3, P3, K6, P3, K3
Row 15: K3, P3, K6, P3, K3

Repeat Rows 1 through 16 until you reach the center of your headband.

Row: K3, P3, K6, P3, K3

Now you're on the reverse side of your band. Repeat Rows 1 through 16 on this side until you reach your measured length.
When you have the full length of your headband, twist your band and sew up your open stitches. You can use the 3 needle bind off method or kitchner stitch.

Now all you have to do is enjoy your braided headband twist. Enjoy.

Items Used: Clover Bamboo straight needles size 9 (5.5mm) I Love This Yarn in Seablue Tweed Brim Size: Small (Medium, Large) Instructions: Row 1: Pick up 12 (14, 16) sts from your cast on edge. Row 2: Purl Row 3: K2, M1, PM, K8 (10, 12), PM, K2, pick up 2 sts from cast on edge. Row 4: Purl to then end, pick up one more st from cast on edge.
