Hey everyone! This is the brim pattern I used in my Oct. '14 Hat of The Month for Vanellope. I also have the other video demonstrating the other size for this brim pattern listed below. I hope you guys find this brim pattern helpful.
Thanks for coming back and watching!

Items Used:
Clover Bamboo straight needles size 9 (5.5mm)
I Love This Yarn in Seablue Tweed

Brim Size:
Small (Medium, Large)

Instructions:
Row 1: Pick up 12 (14, 16) sts from your cast on edge.
Row 2: Purl
Row 3: K2, M1, PM, K8 (10, 12), PM, K2, pick up 2 sts from cast on edge.
Row 4: Purl to then end, pick up one more st from cast on edge.
Row 5: K to marker, M1, slip marker, K8 (10, 12), slip marker, M1, K to end, pick up 2 sts from cast on edge.
Row 6: Purl to end, pick up 2 sts from cast on edge.
Repeat Rows 5 & 6 until brim measures 2" from center.

Turning Row:
(rightside): Purl

NOTE: A turning row is where you place purl stitches on the right side of your work to help your work fold over better.

Brim Decreases:
Row 1: Bind off first 2 sts, slipping 1st stitch rather then purling it, P to end.
Row 2: Bind off first 2 sts, slipping 1st stitch rather then knitting it, K to 2 sts before marker, SSK, slip marker, K 8 (10, 12), slip marker, K2tog, K to end.
Repeat Rows 1 & 2 until only 12 (14, 16) stitches remain.

Bind off 12 (14, 16) stitches.

Cut a 12" or more length of yarn. Fold over your brim at the turning row and sew it down to the inside seam.

Your brim is done and now you can enjoy adding this to any hat pattern you have.
