Hey everyone! February's hat is inspired by Disney Channel's Original Movie, Bad Hair Day. It premieres February 13th, so don't miss it. I was seeing the preview for this movie and this hat immediately caught my attention and I knew I had to make it for you guys. This pattern is super simple and easy to change up to your liking. You can change the colors and even the size since there is no decreases to alter. I hope you guys like this one.

Items Used:
Clover Bamboo 16" Circular Needle size 8 (5mm)
Red Heart With Love Yarn in Pewter and Blue Bell (7oz, 370yds, 4ply med.) 1 ball each
Craft Smart Value Yarn in Bright Red (7oz, 364yds, 4ply med.) 1 ball
Stitch Marker
Tapestry Needle
Size:
22"; average adult size
Gauge:
16 sts and 25 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch
Instructions:
With blue yarn, cast on 88 sts
2x2 Rib: *K2, P2; rep from * around.
Repeat rib for 12 rows, or to preferred width.
NOTE: this whole hat is in stockinette and because we're working in the round we will knit every row to get out st st.
*With grey yarn work 3 rows in stockinette stitch.
With red yarn work 2 rows.
With grey yarn work 3 rows.
With blue yarn work 6 rows.
Repeat from * twice total.
Continue with blue yarn till hat measures 10" from cast on edge.
Bind off and flip hat wrong side out and sew top seam together.
Flip right side out.
Ears:
Thread blue yarn on your tapestry needle.
Starting in the 2nd blue row from last grey row, work a diagonal line from corner to top of hat, to form an ear. Turn around, weaving back on the other side. Pull tight to gather the hat to form the ear, tie off on the inside. Repeat for second ear.
Now enjoy your hat!
