Hey everyone! I wanted to make this video for the fact that I LOVED the Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children movie. After seeing it again in theatres I thought knitted eyeballs would represent the movie really well and be a great tutorial for Halloween. I love these eyeballs in the glass jar, I think they make the best decoration. Let me know what you make these eyeballs for. Hope you enjoy.

Items:
Red Heart Super Saver Yarn in Black, Red, White (for the eyeball)
Same yarn in colors blue, brown, purple, green and lime (for iris')
Boye Aluminum double pointed needles size 7 (4.5mm)
Stitch Marker
Sewing Needle
Fiber Fill

Instructions:

With black;
Cast on 6 sts

NOTE: YO increases are used in this pattern, so on alternating rows make sure to knit in the back loop of your YO to close the hole. Any increase will work here.

Rnd 1: *K1, YO; rep from * around - 12 sts
Switch to colored yarn;
Rnd 2: Knit
Rnd 3: *K1, YO, K2, YO, K1; rep from * around - 18 sts
Switch to white yarn;
Rnd 4: Knit
Rnd 5: *K2, YO, K2, YO, K2; rep from * around - 24 sts
Rnd 6 & 7: Knit
Rnd 8: *K1, K2tog, K2, K2tog, K1; rep from * around - 18 sts
Rnd 9: Knit
Switch to red yarn;
Rnd 10: *K1, K2tog, K2tog, K1; rep from * around - 12 sts
Rnd 11: Knit
Rnd 12: *K2tog; rep from * around - 6 sts

Stuff the eyeball with fiber fill.

Rnd 13: *K2tog; rep from * around - 3 sts

iCord:
Rnd 1: K2tog, K1 - 2 sts
Work an iCord for desired length, about 10 rows.

I recently tried this cast on out and I like it, almost more then the long tail, almost, haha. Its the German twist cast on. It is very similar to the long tail cast on and pretty easy to get the hang of. Hope you guys try this one out. Thanks for coming back and watching! Items Used: Clover Bamboo straight needle size 9 (5.5mm) Vannas Choice Yarn in Barley Instructions: Pull a length of yarn, depending on how many youre casting on. Create a slip knot. In left hand, with short tail around thumb, long tail around index finger and remaining tails in palm of hand, pull down with needle to form a V shape. Similar to the long tail cast on. With needle, go under both yarns around thumb, swing back through thumb yarns, around index yarn, pull through loop, drop off thumb and tighten on needle. Repeat till desired amount.
