Hey everyone! It's the first 2014 Hat of The Month! I've been waiting for what seems so long for 2014 to come for the new hats with a very special theme. Let's see if you guys can guess it. First hat for you guys is Princess Anna from the Disney movie Frozen and let me just say that this movie is so adorable!! If you haven't see it, you need to and if you have, you need to go see it again, like I will be doing, haha. I hope you guys enjoy this hat. I can't wait to share all the other hats for 2014.

Finish Hat Items:
Aluminum needle size 6 (4mm)
Crochet hook size H
Caron Simply Soft Yarn in Plum Wine and Lavender Blue (fushsia & dk. purple would be best)
Lion Brand Fun Fur in Sandstone
Gauge:
20 sts = 4" in pattern with size 8 needle
(I moved down to size 6 to achive my size)
Yarn:
At least 220 yards of yarn. If buying multiple yarn balls, check for the same lot/dye number to ensure same color.
Instructions:
NOTE: Hat is knitted flat and sewn up later.
Cast on 36 sts, leaving a long tail, 25" or so, for sewing up the back seam later.
Row 1: (Wrong Side) *K2, P2* (9 times). (36 st)
Row 2: Kfb, *P2, K2* (8 times), P2, W&T (37 st; 1 on left needle, 36 on right needle)
Row 3: K2, *P2, K2* (8 times), P2. (37 st)
Rows 4-29: Repeat rows 2-3 for 13 times more.
You should now have 14 wrapped stitches, 36 sts and 50 sts total.
Row 30: K2 tog, K1, *P2, K2* (8 times), P2, W&T. (49 st; 13 on left needle, 36 on right needle)
Row 31: K2, *P2, K2* (8 times), P2. (49 st)
Rows 32-55: Repeat rows 30-31 for 12 times more.
Row 56: K2 tog, K1, *P2, K2* (8 times), P2. (36 st)
Row 57: *K2, P2* (9 times).

Finishing: Sew back seam from crown to edge.
Crochet Edge:
Pick up edge stitches (72 sts) while working single crochet, with purple.
Work 3 rows. Add fur to front center of hat (18 sts).
